Backstory:
Imryll was born in Seheron, originally in Clan Bahaghari, where they lived with the Fog Warriors as part of an alliance to protect each other from Tevinter slavers. However the way became too dangerous and the clan made the decision to leave for the Free Marches, where they merged with Clan Lavellan.

Imryll discovered her magic at age 8 and her skills were immediately honed by her mage father who was also the clan apothecary. Her mother, though it was never voiced, was disappointed that she couldn’t pass on the warrior mantle that the women in her family have had for generations as Imryll showed no interest or desire in it. Imryll enjoyed learning about poultices and studying elven history, although she was apprehensive of becoming the First to the Keeper as she felt leadership was not her strong suit. She much preferred her arcane studies and alchemy.

During a hunt, Imryll’s older brother, Iefyr, goes missing after his group runs into Tevinter slavers. Despite looking for weeks and months, Iefyr is nowhere to be found and is eventually proclaimed dead. This destroys Imryll’s soft-hearted father and he began to distance himself from her mother as he resented her for encouraging Iefyr to train as a hunter. Imryll sought solace in her first love, Liranael, who was also a clan hunter. However, tragedy struck again when Liranael was killed in another huntin accident involving human bandits.
Distraught, Imryll’s emotions become volatile, and after a confrontation with one of the clan members, she accidentally sets an aravel on fire, burning herself along with it. After talking with Deshanna, Imryll does something beyond her comfort, which was the decision to spy on the conclave, something Liranael was going to do, and something beyond Imryll’s expertise. Will she survive?


Personality:
Imryll is naturally softspoken, shy with a sweet disposition. However her mental state at the beginning of Inquisition did not reflect that, instead led people to believe she was a quiet, aloof and cold person as her fear caused her to isolate herself. However as she began to heal, her soft personality shone through again, especially towards people she felt she could trust. Imryll is a non-confrontational, somewhat of a coward and constantly anxious. She places all her self-worth in things she is good at, and that worth is easily taken away when she fails at anything. Imryll feels useless and grows tired from that and the constant fear. As she heals from what’s happened in her past she strives to become braver and learns how to be a leader, while still keeping the softness within that lets her love people deeply..
